Individual Personal Training for any body

About Me

I want everyone to love fitness as much as I do.

I developed a passion for fitness around the time I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in my twenties. I consider fitness to be a major part of my treatment, one of the most important components of my overall health, and oftentimes my favorite part of the day.

I decided to become a personal trainer after a decade of tech and corporate work that illuminated my passion for fitness — while my coworkers were getting better in their roles, I was preparing workout routines and reading the latest research on muscle hypertrophy.

My favorite thing about fitness is the relationship we build with our own bodies. We learn to appreciate what our body is capable of and we take care of it in return. We can build strength and balance, improve mobility and flexibility, and develop endurance and stability in the movements we use each and every day. We come to appreciate the relief we feel after a challenging workout and the joy of rest in between.

1-on-1 Training

Use the form below to contact me about a free Discovery Call. We’ll go over your health history, current goals and movement behaviors, as well as any questions you have about me or my process. We'll use this call to make sure we're aligned and that you feel safe and comfortable working together, before deciding to move forward with an in-person Evaluation and Intake Session.

Intake Session

An Intake Session is required for all new clients. We’ll use this session to review your health history, any current or past injuries, and any chronic health conditions you may be living with. We’ll conduct a series of functional movement screens and mobility assessments to identify and treat muscular tightness, weakness, and movement compensations.

Individual Programming
$150 / 60 Minutes
60 or 30 Minute Session:
Sessions include individualized mobility, warm-up, cool-down, recovery, and goal-specific components. 30 and 60 minute sessions are available out of my home in Piedmont, California. Travel around the Oakland area is also available for an additional charge.

Monthly Programming:
Monthly Programming is a great option for those on a budget or those who want individualized routines to complete independently. Programs are shared via Google Docs, where clients log movement routines and receive my feedback. Clients must still go through an Intake Session and at least one 60 Minute Session before the first program is sent. Most clients enjoy supplementing the Monthly Programming with a "check-in" session each month to review movement progressions.
$175 / Month
